West Seneca, NY (July 2, 2025) — A tragic incident unfolded on June 29 when a pedestrian was struck and killed near Seneca Street and Kirkwood Drive close to Cazenovia Park. West Seneca Police confirmed that 68-year-old Mark Janicki fell into the roadway where he was hit by an oncoming vehicle around 9:00 p.m. Despite the quick arrival of first responders, Janicki was pronounced dead at the scene.
