Buffalo, NY (August 25, 2025) – On the night of Saturday, August 23, a crash involving a police vehicle left two Buffalo officers and a civilian with injuries. The incident occurred around 9:44 p.m. near 1543 Niagara Street and led to a swift response from emergency crews in the area.
According to city officials, the two officers involved in the accident sustained injuries that are not considered life-threatening. One officer is being evaluated for a possible broken arm, while the other suffered a laceration to the hand. The civilian, who was behind the wheel of the other vehicle involved in the crash, was also hurt. All three individuals were taken to Erie County Medical Center for evaluation and treatment.
